Reasons to join the ACC team...
A culture of caring and a great place to work

The Army Contracting Command (ACC) has an established telework program and many of our positions have the option to regularly work from home (days a week negotiable). During the COVID-19 pandemic, many jobs are being done remotely in order to keep our employees safe. ACC will provide the equipment needed to safely work from home, including a laptop and Virtual Private Network (VPN) capability. Telework allows greater work-life integration, reduces transportation costs and vehicle wear and tear, helps the environment, and saves time otherwise spent commuting. Plus, you get to work from the comfort of your home. https://asc.army.mil/web/recruitment/

Working within ACC will allow you to become part of the Army's esteemed Civilian workforce. The Army is a profession, a highly expert, certified, and credentialed force resulting from years of increasingly rigorous training, education, and leader development. Its people treat one another with dignity and respect, retaining the trust and confidence of both the American people and each other. Army professionals are people of character, presence, and intellect, committed to reflective practice and continuous learning. They share a powerful and enduring identity as lifelong members of the Army team.

The Army is committed to equality of opportunity, providing all our talented people with fulfilling and rewarding professional careers. As an inclusive and representative American institution, we ensure that our people possess a diversity of talent - knowledge, skills, behaviors, and preferences - drawn from all corners of our country and its vibrant, diverse population.

Work Schedules that meet your needs

Flexible Work Hours

Work the hours that work for you.

At ACC, Our Mission and Our People are equally important. That's why we designate our core work hours to allow for flexible start and stop times to create a schedule that meets your needs. This is an alternative to the traditional 9 to 5, 40 hour work week. Whether you need your evenings free, hate early mornings, or would rather work fewer than 5 days a week, ACC has flexibilities to support your work life without sacrificing your home life.

Flexible Work Schedules (opm.gov)

Regular Day Off/Alternate Work Schedule

Do you like 3-day weekends? So Do We.

Many ACC positions are eligible for alternative work schedules, which allow you to add one hour to your work day in exchange for an extra day off every two weeks. That's 13 additional days off a year!

Combined with our first-year leave package, a new employee can have up to 36 days off a year. That's more vacation days than 97% of all first-year workers will receive at a for-profit company!
